    Dr. Matthew Dickinson is a highly distinguished engineer whose impressive career reflects a deep and unwavering commitment to advancing technology and fostering innovation in numerous fields. He earned his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, which gave him a comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems, materials science, and the fundamental principles of engineering design. Matthew’s Master’s degree in Robotics and Automation allowed him to focus on the intricacies of advanced control systems and their diverse applications in cutting-edge wearable technology, effectively laying the groundwork for his innovative solutions, as well as the design and manufacturing of advanced exoskeletons. He is dedicated to advancing technology to address emerging challenges and seize opportunities across various industries. Matthew’s unwavering commitment to Viking Exos drives his visionary goal to create state-of-the-art exoskeletons that significantly improve performance and safety in a wide range of applications.

  • Dr. Graham Chapman

    CTO

    Dr. Graham Chapman is a highly experienced clinical biomechanist with over 10 years of dedicated experience, focusing intently on understanding the complex effects of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions on gait patterns. He possesses a particular interest in studying the impact of various pathological conditions, such as osteoarthritis and psoriatic arthritis, on foot and ankle function, as well as investigating how both surgical and conservative treatments can significantly enhance patients’ health and overall functionality. Graham has authored over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles and has contributed to several book chapters in his field. His research encompasses the application of 3D kinematics and kinetics for lower limb gait analysis, as well as multibody modelling of joint function, in conjunction with patient-reported outcome measures. This approach allows him to explore the effectiveness and efficacy of both conservative and surgical treatments on patients’ overall functional improvement. Graham’s unwavering commitment to Viking Exos fuels his vision of creating innovative exoskeletons designed to augment the human body, ultimately aiming to minimise injuries across a variety of applications.
